On successful completion of this course, the student, with the aid of the appropriate reference materials, should be able to:
- Define the basic constructs and concepts of relational databases
- Describe the fundamental components of DB2
- Code SQL statements to access DB2 tables
- Execute SQL statements using QMF
- Create and use View definitions
- Understand and use outer joins in SQL data retrieval operations.
